Balancing of rotating components is essential to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Vibration is wasted energy resulting in power loss. We have installed a dynamic balancing machine, equipped with three reading heads and digital display, to ensure that all rotating components are perfectly in balance.

We have installed a dynamic balancing machine, equipped with three reading heads and digital display, to ensure that all rotating components are perfectly in balance

Crankshafts – all types of crankshafts of inline or V configuration, flywheels and clutches can be balanced perfectly by removing or adding weight as indicated by the accurate digital readout. The machine is also used to balance one and two piece prop-shafts

The balancing of any rotation items can be undertaken – we balance F1 wind tunnel model wheels at 3000 rpm for several top FI teams.

Connecting rods – are end-to-end balanced in sets to within 0.5 grams, to ensure the rotating and reciprocating parts of the rods are of equal weight.

Pistons – are balanced in sets to within 0.5 grams.

Accurate balancing and weighing of connecting rods and pistons is essential to calculate the balance factor required for 6 cylinder and V8 crankshafts.
