The factory build sheet confirms that this DB5 was completed in early 1964 and supplied through Brooklands to its first owner, D. S. Albert Esq. Delivered on 18th February, it was originally specified with a heated rear screen, Bray engine heater, Motorola radio and power-operated aerial.
In 2021, R S Williams were entrusted with carrying out a comprehensive bare-metal restoration of the body with meticulous attention to fit, finish and detail, the work culminated in the DB5 being refinished in the iconic Silver Birch it wears today. Detailed invoices approaching £150,000 accompany the car.
Following completion of the body restoration and paintwork, the DB5 was carefully reassembled and recommissioned. Its Black Connolly hide interior complements the Silver Birch coachwork beautifully, while air conditioning makes this an especially usable example for longer journeys and continental touring.
The accompanying invoice records a mileage of 29,748 in August 2021, with the odometer now displaying 37,326 miles. Having covered fewer than 8,000 miles since completion of the body restoration, the car remains in superb condition and presents beautifully throughout.
